book in day.

aiye... sian.. im gonna book in already today. after this 2 long weeks of break, instead of feeling refreshed and ready to go, im feeling so lethargic and so "civilian" that i dont wish to enter sungei gedong again!.. well but im thankful for this long break because i myself understands that not everybody gets a chance to clear their block leave! well at least i got to do lotsa stuff i didnt get to do in the past..

* i went jurong swimming complex after such a long while
* i went to lagoon with the dearest
* i went for my ppt @ nie
* i met up wiv alex, hp, matt, dan, kenny, ian and kozaw @ MU vs LVP and supper @ 85
* i met up wiv genesis fc for street soccer comp @ NUS and with moranges fc for soccer @ marina
* many many more.

i cant wait to ORD lk sgt fabian! hahaha. exactly 52 weeks more. probably 52 more blog postings and tons of more words here.

ahh. a week of block leave. gone just like that! ouch.

had my physical proficiency test @ nie earlier on.. didnt expect that there'd be so many pple la.. close to 150 i would say. it was pretty intimidating i must admit.. but i think i have no regrets lar. tried my best :) although the backward roll really left my neck aching! ha. oh.. and char was right about nie pe & sports science. that there are lotsa babes there. ha

the geylang serai food was good too!

ramly is good! no.1 asian food. that catchy song was repeating in my head as i was having my RAMLY. haha. if u listen to perfect 10 u will know what i mean.

a tribute, to the 01/06 tank commander course.

the course, 18 weeks long. over. just like that. 41sar, 42sar and ATI is where we all are, now. its just sad because i've to admit, not long after, we'd soon be degraded to just " hi-bye friends " if we do not work to keep this friendship together. anyway, im really proud to survive this course with this 26 other warriors, including the OOCs. the amount of work/shit done is really remarkable. commendable. personally i'm also thankful i've a co-operative crew that doesnt provide me with lotsa troubles, except for the stupid fact that our vehicles always break down. grr. haha. other than that! everything is good. lastly. my buddy rocks. seriously, even when he is not doing *sai kang. lol.

clearing leave now.. much-needed break! bought the w810i and watch the departed yesterday with the dearest. fell asleep in the cinema. again.. sheeez.

ha. the day is here. finally. the 3SG rank on.

just had my passing out parade yesterday.. wasnt that bad. armour parades are always more cool, with drive passes and all.. the mother and the brother came yesterday.. dad didnt managed to as he was in vietnam. the satisfaction, pride and all. just phenomenal. everyone was just having fun last night. didnt occur to me that, come this monday, we'd all be split up.. 6 in ati, 15 in armoured units.. bet we'd miss trainee life. but definately not NOW. haha. the rank comes with lotsa responsibilities..guess we'd all have to get used to it lar.

went to chinatown today.. not bad, something different la. went wiv the girlfriend. been ages since i last went to chinatown so it was quite an eye opener.. lotsa shops and lotsa stuff. discovered some really cool shops that sells vintage stuff too, so even though we didnt get the berms dar, we stil gained alot! ahha.

lastly. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TPP (TUA PUI PAT) PATRICK. haha. maybe now not tua pui already la.. anyway it was a great party at ur place. too bad MICHELLE didnt go. :)

guess who's back.

im back! from taiwan. weather is really eccentric there. one moment it felt like a mini typhoon was coming, next im sweating under the 38 degree celsius heat. lol. madness. the accomodation there is not as good as that of Singapore, not that we tankees get to use the bunk often.. most of the time we're outfield what.. first few days was what i called "painful, sad and tough to get by". it was hard getting adjusted there, not being able to book out on fridays, not being able to talk to my dearest for long.. only consolation is that there's hot water. ahha. anyway the second day i went there, the "dao bian xing dong" started.. it's still going on btw.. that almost jeopardized our RnR.. thank God it didnt. RnR was great.. i went to XiMenDing and some of the shopping malls there.. shopped! ate! just great la.. the hotel we stayed in wasnt that bad too. friends and my buddy were great company too! the conducted trips were pretty boring though... but the free & easy was great! was just a pity i didnt had time to go Shilin.. shall go the next time im there!!!!
